The bat has great speed through the zone and looks great! Rating started at 5 stars. However, after 2 practices with the bat, the grip on the handle buckled and needed to be replaced. With this kind of price and a name like Easton, one would not expect this. The grip issue is the cause for the 3 star as it was very inconvenient to replace and unnecessary 4 days after receiving a brand new bat.State regulations require him to use a -3 bat, so figured might as well get him use to one before spring ball. This bat is slightly end loaded but not as much as you would think for a big barrel bat. Some serious pop right out the wrapper. Would recommend this bat over the overpriced and overrated Makos anyday.Easton Z-Core speed. Bat is the lightest and most balanced swinging aluminum bbcor bat on the market! Huge barrel and sweet spot compared to other brands and drives baseballs deep when you barrel up! Lots of popA great bat in terms of how it performs, when you barrel a ball up, it's destined to go far. However some things I noticed, sometimes the bat really vibrates and stings your hands, and the sound it makes isn't so satisfying as a wood bat. Still a tremendous boom stick. Highly recommend.I was super nervous ordering this since I don’t know a lot about bats. But my 14 yr old son got it and was very excited. He said it works great and his hitting is “sick” with it.Excellent bat, but with one major flaw. I had to replace it 3 times because the grip kept coming off. Eventually Easton stopped replacing it because they said it was a cosmetic defect and not a bat defect. They sent me more grip tape free, but my son had to switch bats anyways because of the problem. We are Easton loyalists and bought all our bats through the years from Easton and never had this problem before. I would expect much better quality from Easton and hope their future bats are of better quality.Great bat for a great price that even looks better in person than in the pictures. Easton Sports, was easy to deal with and the bat arrived 3 days early with standard shipping.My we year old mo ed from a drop 10 to a drop 3 and loves this bat.
