I have employees that tear up the screw in type nozzles. This tool prevents that. It is sturdy, well built & doesn't leak.Has kick. Lasts forever. The Campbell Hausfeld MP5143 Pistol Grip Blowgun is an essential attachment for any pneumatic tool arsenal. I would recommend this tool over the traditional styled thumb-operated blow guns.Build Quality and Durability - The nozzle is securely attached to the injection-molded plastic grip housing and does not give the feeling that it will one day work itself loose. The plastic itself is quite durable having withstood a few drops to concrete, although I wouldn't recommend dropping this tool as your default set-down method. It is definitely not cheaply made - I haven't tested mine to the point of failure as I'd like to keep it around for a long time but I don't baby it either.Operation - The trigger is long enough that you can operate with all 4 fingers if necessary - this really helps with fatigue when you're using it to clean your saws, saw horses, or work area after a job and are running it for extended periods of time. Also, a cool feature with the trigger is it has a graduated air valve, meaning when you start to pull the trigger, the air flow starts very slow and increases to full blast when the trigger is fully depressed. The large 4-finger trigger makes it easy to control this operation so it's not just a gimmick. The long nozzle is skinny enough to get into crevices and holes but was likely engineered at its current diameter to maximize airflow - which it does! The blast of air is powerful enough to clean equipment free of all sawdust and shavings and I even used it to blow off my entire deck when my leaf blower was on the fritz.Notes - The gun comes without brass couplings to connect to an air hose so either add a 1/4" NPT male coupling to your order or plan on running out to your local hardware store to get one - and don't forget teflon tape. My unit has absolutely no leaks after 6 months of intermittent use. 5-stars all the way - I don't anticipate ever needing to add another blow gun to my lineup or having to replace this one! If you have't purchased a blow gun yet for your compressor, this tool is a MUST!This tool is so much better than most blowgun options on the market. I use this blowgun to air blow my computer, air blow my lawn mower engine, car engine and anything else I can think of. It has sooo much force and WILL run down your air compressor but that's the best part. The air compressor may have to kick on with this tool but what ever you point in front of it will be free of dust, or any other foreign material that not securely planted.Every single time I think about something needing to be cleaned by a air I grab this tool and mash down on the handle. A smile comes over my face and i see a wind tunnel debris flying for the power of this little tool. Put a brass quick connect attachment on the end and be down with it.I've already told many people to buy this blowgun and I'm now telling you. If you're buying a blowgun to do what a blowgun does, wich is blow things, you will not be upset with this tool. I have my air compressor set at 125psi and this blowgun gives all that pressure on whatever you point in its way.Start of with short quick burst first to get the hang of it and to ensure whatever you're blowing doesn't fly away (hahah). Depending on what you're blowing you can sometimes just let it go and man o man whatever you were blowing will be clear. I recently cleaned my engine, i reached for my yard blower and said no no no. I connected Little Big Blower and wow all water and solution on my engine was gone. You will not be disappointed with this product. Well worth the money and a go to tool for me.Just what I wanted ???Didn’t get a 5 because it chokes down the flow a little more than I’d like. I think a little bigger orifice would get more blowing power, but it’s still pretty nice for dusting out the shop table and shelves.Works as advertised. Seems very high quality. Many look-a-like products but I suspect not of the same quality. I have seen much cheaper units at harbor freight, but have not tried. Hefty and can even clear garage dust on floor. One interesting use of this air gun is to get rid of the dust on the dashboard of your car. You the know the little specs of dust you can swiffer out or vacuum. Using this tool you can shoot out any little specs and give the car dashboard a fresh detailing you can't otherwise do.Overall I would recommend this product.I purchased this blowgun for two reasons: (1) to clean air filters for my vehicles, lawn equipment, and pressure washer; and, (2) to periodically remove any dust from my home computer. The body is made of heavy plastic. It will attach directly to the threaded end of an air hose or you can purchase quick release couplings for this and your other pneumatic implements. I utilize the couplings because I also depend on my air compressor for vehicle tire inflation and other uses. One word of advice: you will need some 1/2" teflon tape for the threads as the couplings do leak a little without teflon tape to seal them. The tape is very inexpensive. The first thing I used this blowgun for is cleaning air filters. I am impressed. With the concentrated air, I was able to remove the vast majority of trapped dirt and debris from the filters making them look almost new. Replacing filters less frequently will pay for the cost of this item in no time at all.Because the user can control the air flow, this device does a great job of removing dust from sensitive electronics inside the case of my home PC.I already have other uses in mind like removing debris trapped in hard to reach places on my lawn tractor, and cleaning grit/dust/debris from my power tools, hedge trimmers, chainsaw, etc.My old CH blow gun finally needed to be replaced after heavy use. It’s been driven over, dragged, dropped and everything else possible. My old CH still works well, but there is a very slight leak in the trigger area, so I decided to get a replacement. Quick tip, if you use it on your car or something delicate wrap the exhaust pipe with tape or put a small rubber hose over it to avoid scratching. This blow gun feels very solid. Works well, and feels pretty ergonomic. Worth noting that it requires a quick connect which is pretty standard but not included. I wish it had a rubber tip on the end to prevent damaging things you're blowing off, but it's not a big deal. I've been using it to clean up sawdust from woodworking, and it works very well.I was expecting the plastic to be a bit more robust. I am scared it will get damaged or start to leak every time it falls on the ground. But for the price you can’t go wrong. It works great!I bought multiple for my work shop. They're almost all leaky.. The handle doesnt return to the 'closed' position perfectly, so the valves stay open slightly, bleeding air. Sad from CH...Meaning it's basically a weaker more dangerous vacuum cleaner that uses your lungs as the filter.
